This is possible because, Chinese and German engineers have developed special sensors and lens that have controllable shutter speeds. When it comes to CCTV, cameras that can see in color in the night have a special low lux rating that is used to measure how well the camera can deliver color video in low lighting conditions. Most bullet cameras now have infrared LED lights that cut in when the lighting conditions turn south, however, this is not a true day/night camera.
