Horizontal Resolution


Horizontal resolution refers to the amount of TV Lines displayed by a security camera. Different resolution are the direct result of the chip set in the security camera. The bigger the chip set, the more light that can be processed, thus the more lines of resolution.

Our Analog CCTV Cameras generally come in one of these resolutions:

  1. Low (~ 420 TV Lines)
  2. Normal ( ~ 480 TV Lines)
  3. Medium ( ~ 540 TV Lines)
  4. High (~ 600 TV Lines)
  5. Very High (~700 TV Lines)
  6. HD
